Five steps to a seamless translation

  1. 01

    Quote

Upon receipt of your materials, I read and take in every tiny detail of the specifications of the project and will ask questions if something is not clear. You will also receive a quote.

  2. 02

    Review

I then analyze your target audience, including level of education and language competency.

  3. 03

    CAT tools

While carrying out the translation, I use computer-assisted translation tools to ensure consistency and precise terminology.

  4. 04

    Double revision

Before sending, I perform a thorough second revision of your document, ensuring grammar, syntax, spelling, and terminology are correct.

  5. 05

    Feedback and delivery

I deliver the translation, sometimes with notes, alternatives, or suggestions, so your materials are as effective as possible.

Or is it editing you need?

From your healthcare documents to your marketing materials, I can ensure your translated texts are fully comprehensible, without errors.

My thorough editing process and detail-oriented mind will ensure the high quality of your texts.

I can also be your sworn translator

Do you need certified Spanish translations?

I am a sworn translator in two combinations: English–Spanish and Italian–Spanish. My translation degree from the University of Uruguay is the US equivalent of a bachelor’s degree.

If you need certified Spanish legal translations, I can provide those services for the local Uruguayan market. That page is in Spanish: traducción pública.

How a project looks

This is an example of the kind of choice I make. It is not a client file.

English. “Contact your provider if your symptoms get worse.”

Spanish for a patient leaflet. “Comuníquese con su médico o centro de salud si los síntomas empeoran.”

Why. “Provider” is clear in a US insurance form. For a patient, “proveedor” is vague. They need to know who to call.

Your files stay in my CAT tools and in our email. I do not paste client material into public AI chats.
